I was explaining this to Q in an email and decided to speak here instead. These are the events to the best of my recollection....

The blue witch painting that I offered up for bid in the Offers forum had only one bid belonging to Zoltan. When I contacted her about it, she said she was about to go on vacation and wanted me to hold the painting for her until her return. I wish I'd checked with her before I closed the bidding, because it would have just been left open for more bids. During the same time frame it was discovered that the Pretty Teeth fund never arrived, so I asked Z to hold off payment for a few days (there is no criteria for how long an Offers transaction should take. It was all very casual). I wanted to see how it played out, fully intending to send the $50 to MCs as soon as Annie got her money. (She still doesn't have it, and I've seen no update). Then, seeing Becky's plight, and hearing CC say that he'd been able to verify that Annies check hadn't been cashed and would be replaced, I decided sending the money directly to Becky would be faster. She was looking at eviction in 2 or 3 days.

Annie's fund sat open for too long. By the time CC posted for Annies address in the Teeth thread Brian had already graduated. His teeth are still not fixed. CC never followed up with Annie after I finally caught up with him in chat. I don't remember that exact conversation but he did get the gist that the last time I'd talked to Annie (a few days) she was not in receipt of the money. I'd been trying to follow up on it because I'd posted twice to the Pretty Teeth thread and had been ignored. When I caught CC in chat and asked him if the money had been sent he said he was surprised she hadn't received it yet. He never even let her (or us) know when it had been mailed and he was vague about when it had been mailed in chat. I would like to know why the funds were sent via snailmail when all other MCs money moves through PP?

When people the calibre of Skeets and Jo are chiming in to pat you on the back it's not a good sign. When Sal shows up at just the right time everytime CC needs backup, that's something that should be noticed. When my credibility is completely mutilated after I'm gone, that should be a red flag to at least a few of you.

I changed my email address because I didn't want to leave my real email address at MCs to be sold to the highest bidder. I didn't know the system would immediately block me. CC has to approve new members, and I assumed email address changes would be handled in the same way. For CC to create a thread stating that I'd deliberately tried to make it look as though he'd suspended me is ridiculous, but any distraction will do when things are getting a little to close to the truth. In fact, if you read Zoltan's thread it's apparent that deflection from the real issue was the order of the day.

THESE ARE THE FACTS:

The money, said to be $300, is missing.

Paypal is discussed in the Pretty Teeth thread and the money was collected via PP, but was distributed via snail mail even though part of the reason for collecting funds via MCs was to make it easier to send all at once from one PP account.

The Pretty Smile fund issue resurfaced and CC began posting a ridiculous number of money making offers on the boards.

The moment he was asked direct questions he began to attack those who were asking.

The moment he felt alone Sal showed up to viciously attack and deflect (as always).

CC immediately changed his demeanor and involvement in Becky's new fund thread, all the while denying that there should be more accountability in Zoltan's thread.

I think I've posted enough here for most of you to know the kind of person I am. This unbridled slaughter of my character should send up the warning flags, and if it doesn't then you don't know me at all. I have been honest and straightforward, but as soon as concerns were voiced over the lack of accountability where funds are concerned I became some hideous monster whose agenda is and always has been to control MCs. If I wanted to control a board I'd open my own. If I wanted to discredit CC I'd have raised the question of Sal being CC publicly, not in PM to him as I did. Months ago, before JB was suspended from BV, I PM'd CC regarding a post made by him on the BV boards. Computers immediately responded with a lengthy post at BV. Sal has stated that he is BV's Computers somewhere in these forums, although I can't search because I no longer have access. I did not raise the issue again until Sal began posting excessively in threads with CC. It made me uncomfortable so I PM'd CC and asked him directly. Of course, he denied it because to do anything else would be an admission to a violation of his own TOS. I could be wrong about Sals admission, but that doesn't change the fact that I PM'd CC and Computers responded at BV so fast it made my head spin. Someone is lying, and it isn't me.

My first crime was sending money to Becky without getting CC's approval first. My second crime was asking for accountability with the funds, and it's turned into this. So, shoot me, I've been bad. Disembowel me and spread my innards across these boards if you like, but it will not change the facts.
